Pattern Making 3 || 12 weeks

It is assumed that students for level III must have completed level II, or assessed to have enough knowledge of slopers, basic pattern making and terminologies to forgo level III of our program.

Curriculum:

• Making patterns for tailored pants

• Making patterns for jeans/ casual pants

• Making patterns for basic dress shirts

• Making patterns for fitted tees

• Working with patterns for wovens vs knits

• Making patterns for tailored clothing

• Linings, interlinings and fusing patterns

• Understanding a cutters must

• Grading nests

• Preparing patterns for production

At the completion, students should be able to make standard patterns for different garments, be able to adapt them to new styles and also prepare them for production of garments.
